I believe everyone deserves good design no matter the size, scale or budget of the project. That is what I strive to provide to all my clients. I also believe that teamwork is an essential part of the process; working closely with consultant(s) and contractor(s) during the design process makes the actual construction process more seamless. Growing up in the hardware business I have interacted with many contractors and have been able to discover what they want and need in good design and construction plans. I pride myself in the plans I provide to clients and contractors, as well as the building agencies involved.
My three brothers and I were raised in Seal Beach, CA, and grew up in a family owned and operated hardware store where the business philosophy centered on “servicing the customer”. From an early age, “service” and “work ethic” were ingrained in our vocabulary. In my early 20’s I entered the corporate world where I worked in the airline industry. This gave me the opportunity to travel to many places and experience cultures that may not have otherwise been possible for me.
In the mid 90’s, I left the airline industry to attend architecture school. While in college, I was fortunate to study in Italy for a year under Italian Architecture Professors. I received a Bachelor of Architecture Degree in 2001 from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona).
I pride myself in being punctual, attentive and listening closely to my clients’ wants and needs. I believe that most problems are just opportunities waiting to flourish. I enjoy designing spaces that require maximum utilization and unique space planning.
I love to ski, hike and enjoy the great outdoors with friends and my dog Chase.
One of the great things about my profession is that I get the benefit of meeting very nice and interesting people and help to make their homes a more enjoyable place for them to live for years to come.
